The U-Walk walkability audit was created specifically for measuring walkability on university campuses. The audit was created based on literature review, student feedback, and item reduction through data analysis. The audit addresses both inner and outer campus walkability. It has been divided into five segments: Safety, Comfort, Infrastructure, Crossing, and Overall Assessment.
